Marbach has continuously expanded its services in the past year. The newest member of the Marbach service family is the Marbach Performance Boost package. By which, Marbach supports its consulting service which makes its own process know-how available to its customers and thereby significantly increasing their productivity during the die-cutting process.
In recent years, Marbach has discovered that customers want more from their tool suppliers than just functioning cutting-dies. Topics that came up repeatedly were training, assistance with packaging development or process support. Marbach has taken these customer wishes into account: with the opening of the Marbach Academy. It is now possible to offer various packaging design services and to create the Performance Boost package, which analyzes the processes of Marbach customers and makes suggestions for optimization.
Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "In concrete terms, you have to imagine it this way: one of our experienced application engineers visits the customer for an initial analysis. He analyzes the customer's individual infrastructure, looks at the tools used, the machinery as well as the set-up and production processes. After the analysis, the process is evaluated and the optimization potential identified. On the basis of this, an individual catalog of actions is developed for each customer. By implementing these measures, the customer can optimize their processes and thus increase their performance. If desired, our application engineer can then support the customer in the implementation phase."
The aim of the Marbach Performance Boost package is to support customers by helping them increase their die-cutting productivity. As a result they benefit from more output, more flexibility in their production and ultimately from an increase in their profits. In some instances it has been possible to increase net output per hour by up to 30 %.
