Convincing performance when cutting plastic. SR tools from Marbach.
We are well-known for our extensive portfolio. Thus, we also supply the global plastics industry with cutting-dies. The high-precision Marbach steel rule dies are designed for use directly after the thermoforming process. Here they ensure the reliable separation of plastic cups and lids.
The SR (Steel-Rule) tools used for this purpose are characterized by their high precision and special features. Michael Kiesel, Sales Manager at Marbach: "Our SR tools are based on a technology that is perfectly adapted to the requirements of cutting plastic. The blades are installed in a waterjet-cut free-flow holder and the individual elements are floated on the base plate. This means that the steel rule centers itself with the thermoforming part during the die-cutting process and the die-cutting edge is therefore the same for all cavities. But that's not all: with our Flexi-Tab-System, visible nicks are a thing of the past: this is because special nick-tabs make nicks disappear, thus producing a flawless cup. Last but not least, the Marbach cutting rule silverline ensures particularly good cutting quality and long tool life."
