The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies includes materials for the rubbering of cutting-dies. When it comes to rubber materials, the most important thing is that they are resistant and durable. When used in the right place in the cutting-die, they ensure that the paperboard material is ejected optimally during the cutting process. In addition, they ensure the stability of the nicks and thus provide smooth production processes in the die-cutting machine.
Ingo Graham, Product Manager at Marbach: "Our new rubber sample folder gives our customers an overview of the different types of rubber and their intended use. We offer rubber materials for all areas of a cutting-die, both for cutting corrugated board and paperboard. Because we ourselves produce cutting-dies, we know exactly which material should be used where. For the optimal functioning of the tool in the packaging production."
Marbach currently has a very special rubber in its product range: flexpower. This high-performance rubber is characterized by its compressive strength, its rebound elasticity and its resistance. It is also tear-resistant and has low abrasiveness.
Graham continues: "Due to its structure, flexpower can be very strongly compressed. Such a property has a very positive effect on the cutting quality. The enormously high rebound elasticity ensures rotary die-cutting without waste between the blanks and maximum machine running speeds. In the case of flat die-cutting, it provides a smooth production process and stable machine running.
