Marbach cutting-dies for corrugated board rotary machines. Special dies with active stripping technology are gaining ground.
Marbach's portfolio includes cutting-dies for rotary machines. In the field of rotary die-cutting of corrugated board the trend is more and more towards rotary machines with active stripping technology. This requires the use of specialized tools. Some time ago, Marbach had already addressed this issue and developed optimized specialized tools with active stripping technology. During the last few months this Marbach technology has become more and more established.
Silvio Gruber, Sales Manager at Marbach: "Rotary die-cutting machines with active stripping technology follow a different approach than conventional rotary machines. They have an integrated self-stripping system where the waste is stripped using mechanical ejectors."
Marbach offers tools which are designed for such machines and directly adapted to their requirements. The tools must be highly precise and specially equipped. This makes them complex to manufacture.
Gruber continues: "The customers who use our high-precision specialized tools are very satisfied with the performance when die-cutting their corrugated board packaging. They report waste-free blanks as well as very high running speeds of their rotary machines."
