Our division Marbach Die Supplies provides diemakers worldwide with the materials, equipment and machines they need for the production of their tools. In order to be able to meet the special requirements for the production of packaging in the pharmaceutical sector, we offer the msteel embossing machine. This is used to produce male embossing forces that implement the embossing of Braille on packaging quickly, reliably and in accordance with the requirements.
The msteel embossing machine is used for the production of flat and rotary Braille male forces made of steel. With this machine, the process of embossing and marking the male force is fully automatic.
André Angermeir, Sales Manager of Marbach Die Supplies, says: "Today, there is a regulation in many countries that pharmaceutical packaging must have Braille. Therefore, almost every cutting-die in this sector requires special technology to be able to emboss these fonts. The msteel embossing machine is perfectly adapted to emboss the Braille male forces. The material used is a special metal sheet, approx. 0.4 mm thin, which is specially formable. With the msteel, perfect shaping of the Braille dots in the sheet can be achieved easily and reliably. For use with flat as well as rotary male embossing forces."
However, the msteel machine not only embosses every necessary Braille dot in the sheet steel, but also inscribes the male force fully automatically with engraving. The Braille male forces produced in this way can always be assigned to the corresponding order thanks to this labeling and can therefore be archived without any problems.
Angermeir explains: "The advantages of the msteel are obvious: Braille male forces produced with it are of a very high quality. They not only have an extremely long service life, but their special point formation also ensures smooth onward transport of the sheet in the die-cutting machine and can so guarantee a reliable process. The steel design of the male force also means that no dots of the braille can be lost during the production of a package. This provides safety for the diemaker as well as the packaging manufacturers."
Packaging manufacturers are increasingly producing rotary male forces directly in their own production facilities in order to be able to react flexibly to order situations. Thanks to the very simple handling of the msteel, Braille male forces can be produced extremely easily and in this way support packaging production.
Angermeir continues: "Our customers are particularly enthusiastic about the optimum shaping of the Braille dots. These form a particularly readable surface on the packaging. As a result, the manufacturer and the consumer can be sure of the quality of their packaging. So, we are happy to be able to contribute with our special quality technology."
In addition, because the outer dimensions of the braille male force produced with the msteel can be manufactured with extreme precision, they can be integrated very quickly and easily into various counter plates such as rillma+ or into steel counter plates.
The msteel embossing machine is suitable for producing braille male forces in the paperboard and corrugated board sectors. The latter can be embossed with Braille in the qualities E, F, G and N flute.
