We are known for our innovative solutions. One of these has just been launched on the market: the high-performance rubber marbaject. This has been specially designed for the corrugated board sector (flat and rotary). Cutting-dies equipped with this material are characterized by even better performance.
The rubbering of a cutting-die has a significant influence on the performance of the die-cutting machine. This is because it fixes the die-cutting sheet material during the die-cutting process. Thanks to its elastic properties, the paperboard sheet is prevented from getting stuck in the cutting-die. The ejection rubber also supports the strength of the nick. Perfectly executed rubbering is particularly important at high speeds of the die-cutting machine, but also for complex package layouts.
Sales Manager Jan Brunner: "There is a large number of rubber materials on the market. However, these often reach their limits in application. At least that is the feedback from our customers. That is why, based on our experience and the requirements of our customers, we have developed a new rubber specifically for use in die-cutting technology. In the process, we have placed particular value on ensuring that all rubber grades are perfectly matched to each other. We adjusted the formula again and again in the development process until we were finally able to hold the perfect result in our hands: marbaject."
But what exactly is marbaject?
Brunner continues: "marbaject is a special rubber designed to function optimally during the die-cutting process. marbaject has high rebound elasticity, so it returns to its original shape very quickly, which ensures optimum ejector function. In addition, it is highly abrasion-resistant and thus also very wear-resistant. Long service lives are the result. marbaject protects the nick and has a good adhesive function on the one hand, but can, if necessary, also be removed again without leaving any residue. Another plus: marbaject is food-compatible and can therefore also be used in the food sector. This has been confirmed by ISEGA. Its environmental properties are also impressive."
marbaject is now available in shore hardnesses 20, 35, 40, 45 and 55. Color coding ensures easy handling during maintenance or repair.
