Marbach at the FachPack in Nuremberg. Great interest of the visitors.

Marbach welcomed almost 300 visitors to its stand in Nuremberg this year. Marbach not only presented the latest innovations from its development center, but also its extensive range of services.

Marbach Sales Director Silvio Gruber: "We are very satisfied with FachPack. This year a large number of existing customers visited our stand, who were then informed about our innovations. But in addition, there were also many potentially new customers. The discussions were very exciting and we are now looking forward to many follow-up projects."

At its stand Marbach presented numerous performance solutions for its customers. 

Solutions for the die-cutting machine.
Gruber: "We offer numerous solutions to bring the die-cutting machine to a permanently good level and therefore to ensure optimum cutting processes. These ensure that both set-up and make-ready times can be reduced for our customers. Our customers in this way increase their productivity and save time and money."

With the Marbach calibration tool package the die-cutting machine can be calibrated at regular intervals. As a result, machine tolerances that arise over time can be significantly reduced.   

With the mplaten|cleaner from Marbach the die-cutting platen is cleaned so that make-ready times can be saved. This is available for both paperboard and corrugated board machines. 

In addition, Marbach offers the digital zone levelling DZL|foil. This makes the zone make-ready unnecessary, but which is normally necessary for each individual job. Once inserted into the die-cutter, it lasts many months thus saving operators considerable time. Because machine downtimes are shortened the production time of the machine is significantly increased.

Tool solutions
In the field of tool technology, Marbach presented its solutions in the fields of die-cutting, stripping and blanking. For die-cutting, Marbach showcased its specially equipped high-performance die: marbaspeed|r. This rotary tool is equipped for maximum efficiency. The stripping tool masterstrip|plate means both smooth production processes and freedom of waste. In the blanking sector, Marbach exhibited its two tool technologies marbablanker and lightblanker.

Promotion activities.
In addition, Marbach offered its customers the new marbanick|2 as a direct sales promotion at the fair. With this hand-held tool, defined nicks in 3 different thicknesses can be inserted into cutting rules. 

Service.
Marbach not only presented its new tool solutions at FachPack, but also its extensive range of packaging services. 
 
In addition to packaging development, Marbach offers, as a service, packaging optimization and the creation of CAD data according to samples. Marbach is also able to take over the cutting of samples and small series for its customers. The advantage: Marbach can directly check the tool implementation during the development of packaging or the creation of data. This is a big advantage for the customers. Both from a time and cost point of view. 

Since 2018 Marbach has been offering training courses on all aspects of die-cutting at the Marbach Academy. Since then, more than 100 people from the fields of paperboard, corrugated board and cigarette packaging have undergone training. The feedback from the participants has been consistently positive. Due to the strong practical orientation of the training courses, the participants could immediately put what they had learned into practice in their daily work. The qualification level of employees has been increased. And their motivation and productivity as well. 

Another product Marbach presented at FachPack was the Marbach Performance Boost Package. With this Marbach offers to take an overview of the customer's production site, analyze the die-cutting process and create a concept for optimization. This will enable customers to increase their performance in their packaging production.

At the special exhibition on its stand: "Packaging in Medical Technology and Pharmacy", Marbach presented its solutions for these two key areas. First and foremost was the special tool package marbaclean, which ensures hygiene when die-cutting packaging.
