Marbach America and Marbach Die Supplies & Automation at the IADD Odyssey in Atlanta. A successful trade fair appearance.

Marbach was present at the IADD Odyssey in Atlanta Georgia from May 1 to 3, 2019. At this event Marbach showcased its latest technologies in the fields of die-cutting technology as well as machines and materials for cutting-die production. More than 250 visitors showed particular interest in Marbach and its technologies. During the three days many interesting conversations took place at the two Marbach stands.

Marbach America presented at its stands the latest innovations of die-cutting technology. Visitors showed special interest in the digital zone levelling DZL|plate, the height-adjustable anvil and the platen cleaning device mplaten|cleaner.

Marbach Die Supplies & Automation was represented in the techshop. The absolute highlight was the new milling machine from Marbach: the mgrav|multi, which was exhibited there for the first time. Additionally, Marbach was able to awaken interest and generate several concrete inquiries about waterjet machines, lasers and automated bending systems directly at the fair.

Fernando Pires, COO Marbach America: "This Odyssey proved to be the ideal forum to present our new mgrav|multi milling machine. This machine is able to mill both rillma and steel counter plates. It also has three other functions: milling stripping boards, plotting and sample making. In addition, our materials from the Die Supplies area met with enormous interest. Our spectrum ranges from pre-make-ready supplies and thinplates to coils of rule and rubber."

During the technical forum, Marbach presented a more recent technology from the reverse cutting sector: the height-adjustable anvil. The focus of this presentation was on the importance of a level platen area – achieved through the application of platen cleaning with the mplaten|cleaner – and the use of digital zone levelling which is needed to reach a precise method of reverse cutting.

The next IADD Odyssey will take place in May 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio. Marbach will also be present at this event. This time represented by two US locations. In summer 2019 Marbach America will open a subsidiary in Michigan City, Indiana. Pires continues: "We are currently working at full speed to open our new location. The machines have already been ordered. For example, the mgrav|multi, which was exhibited at the fair, will find its new home there."
