In May of this year, Marbach launched its new lower pin unit with high precision lower pins. This is mainly used for jobs where very small amounts of waste have to be stripped and where requirements for die-cut blanks to be waste-free are very high. With the lower pin unit, waste is stripped very safely in these areas of application. In the last months, several customers have already been using the new Marbach technology. Customer feedback has been consistently positive.
Lower pin units are used in the stripping station of die-cutting machines. They are especially useful where maximum reliability during stripping is required but where this cannot be achieved with conventional tools. In practice, blanks are often produced and packed directly after die-cutting and delivered to the brand manufacturer. In these cases pre-packing checks are not usually planned for. It is therefore all the more important that the blanks meet the quality requirements and above all are 100% waste-free.
Marbach Sales Manager Bernhard Reisser: "Our customers are very enthusiastic about our new tool. They report that the blanks are 100% waste-free, even involving very small waste pieces which were not reliably stripped with a conventional tool. But that's not all: our customers are enthusiastic about the very stable stripping process, which has enabled them to achieve high machine speeds. This has led to productivity increases of up to 20% for our customers".
A further advantage of the lower pin unit: in the case of a repeat job, the lower pins do not all have to be repositioned, but the existing lower pin unit simply has to be inserted into the machine and the customers can start production of their order.
The Marbach lower pin unit with its new high precision lower pins is now available.
