Founding member of the new China Thermoforming Association. Marbach Tool-Manufacturing

Marbach Werkzeugbau (Tool-Manufacturing) is one of the 17 founding members of the newly established China Thermoforming Association (CTFA). This association aims to promote the development of the Chinese thermoforming industry and consists of both Chinese and international members. 

In this context, Thomas Reinhardt, Sales Manager Asia at Marbach, was invited to hold a thermoforming tool training session on November 29th 2017 in Haining, China. Previously, well-known machine manufacturers had already created a good knowledge base for the participants with machine training courses. Approximately 20 visitors, mainly from the Greiner China Group, attended. Thomas Reinhardt: "Our tool training was a complete success. The Chinese participants were very inquisitive and asked a lot of interesting questions." 

The focus of this four-hour training course was to introduce Marbach and to demonstrate the high level of control required by a tool manufacturer in resharpening thermoforming tools. It is here that the right measuring equipment is most important. Reinhardt continues: "We are very pleased to be not only a part of CTFA, but also a founding member. We hope that we will be able to make a valuable contribution to the further development of the Chinese thermoforming market and are already looking forward to exciting cooperation with the other members of the association and to future interesting network meetings in China." 

Further thermoforming training courses and lectures by Marbach at CTFA are already being planned. In order to position Marbach as an expert in the field of thermoforming tools in China.
