Marbach Tool Manufacturing (Werkzeugbau) supplies customers worldwide with thermoforming tools for the packaging industry. As a result, the company can be found at trade fairs around the globe. This was also the case at the 9th International Plastic Fair (IPF) in Japan which took place from 24th to 28th October 2017 in Tokyo, Japan.
Almost 800 international exhibitors presented their products and services for the plastics industry on 54,000 m² of exhibition space. The main focus was on raw materials and additives, injection moulding and thermoforming machines, components and tools, as well as production and further processing. The fair, which is held every three years, attracted around 45,000 visitors.
Thomas Reinhardt, Director of Sales for the Asian region at Marbach: "For us, the IPF in Tokyo was a complete success. With the company Gabler, our partner for many years, and from whom we recently purchased an M98 Maxx for our Heilbronn Headquarters, we had a joint stand on site. This was, of course, very practical, since it was possible to utilize mutual synergies and showcase ourselves with our combined competence. All our Japanese customers visited us at the fair. So, we were able to hold many interesting discussions and deepen our customer loyalty. The feedback from the visitors was consistently positive. For these reasons, we plan to be there again in three years."
