DZL|plateXL from Marbach. Now also available for large-format machines with a split protection plate.
For many years, Marbach has been offering its customers a special protection plate that permanently compensates for unevenness in the cutting platen. This has ensured significantly reduced make-ready times. From now on, this technology will also be available for large-format machines with a split protection plate. It will run under the name DZL|plateXL.
Marbach Sales Manager Jan Brunner: "Job-specific area make-ready, eats up time and money. It has to be carried out for each individual order. That is why, for several years, we have had the DZL|plate for die-cutting machines with protection plates up to 162 format. This digital zone levelling does not have to be carried out for each individual job, but lasts for several months. Due to its outstanding success, we naturally did not want to deprive those of our customers with large-format machines for die-cutting corrugated board. That's why the DZL|plateXL is now also available for large-format machines with a split protection plate."
Once inserted in the die-cutting machine, the DZL|plateXL permanently compensates for system-related tolerances in the cutting platen over a period of several months. This is in complete contrast to the conventional method of area make-ready, which has to be carried out again for each individual job. The DZL|plateXL reduces make-ready times and increases productivity in packaging production.
