Marbach is taking responsibility for the environment. For many years now, sustainability has played an important role in the Heilbronn-based family business. Now Marbach is setting a new benchmark: from now on, standard printing toners will be replaced by recyclable ones at the Heilbronn headquarters.
In its CSR report, Marbach documents its efforts to promote sustainability. In addition to environmental aspects, economic and social responsibility also play a major role. With its latest campaign, the Heilbronn-based company can now combine ecology and economy.
Marbach-CIO Frank Müthing: "After an intensive test phase, we changed our Heilbronn site completely to the use of recyclable toners. We are thus killing two birds with one stone: on the one hand, we are able to slow down the spiralling costs somewhat and on the other hand help protect the environment. This is because the reuse of numerous components – such as cartridge cases, means that a huge amount of waste can be avoided. Additionally, each recycled toner cartridge will save up to 10 liters of raw oil."
In the medium term, Marbach plans to change its other locations to recyclable toners.
