Marbach introduced its technology pure edge to the market last year. With it, visible edges of corrugated board packaging become especially appealing. In order to illustrate the appearance of pure edge more clearly for the customers, Marbach has now produced two packaging samples. The customers can request these samples to convince themselves first-hand about the advantages of the pure edge technology.
This Marbach-developed technology replaces functional rubber along the cutting rules with steel pressers. This leads to a complete compression of the corrugated board next to the knives during the die-cutting process. Very clear cuts emerge, and the occurrence of dust and angel hair can be prevented.

Clear visible edges and the reduction of the nick size without loss of function speak for themselves. Besides strong visual advantage, the pure edge technology is also characterized by its extremely low wear and tear.
