Marbach has expanded its service portfolio. One element in the new range of packaging design services is customer support in material selection and optimization. For maximum productivity in the production of packaging.

The choice of material has a major influence on the subsequent further processing of packaging during the manufacturing process. Marbach offers support in finding the right material for the particular application. The general rule is that maximum productivity in packaging production is only possible if the packaging manufacturer's process and tool are perfectly matched to the material.

Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "We support our customers in material tests and show them what matters. And how they can achieve maximum performance. In this way, our customers can be sure that the chosen material can be optimally processed, die-cut and creased as desired by the customer. Even if a material is already being used by the customer and does not produce the desired results, we support the optimization process."

Marbach carries out creasing tests, determines creasing forces and folding resistances and evaluates the results. Based on this, the corresponding parameters are recommended to the customer. By manufacturing test forms and full-format die-cutting tests in an near production environment, it can be ensured that perfectly fitting material is used for any particular order.
