Our American subsidiary celebrates its 10th company anniversary this year. Since May 2012, we have also been manufacturing cutting-dies in the USA with great success.
Sales Manager Jan Brunner, who is also a founding member of Marbach America, says: "We started in 2012 with our subsidiary in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 12 employees on an area of 1,100 sqm. In recent years, we have been able to expand this location more and more, so that today there are 62 employees in Charlotte in a 3,400 sqm space."
In Charlotte, we manufacture tools for the folding carton, corrugated board and cigarette industries. In addition, special technical tools (thermoforming steel rule dies). We offer our American customers everything from cutting-dies, counter plates, the appropriate stripping and blanking tools to embossing tools and solutions for their own cutting-die production.
Brunner continues: "The investment in a state-of-the-art production facility in the USA has proven to be an important step in our global expansion policy and has quickly paid off. Because due to the great success of our USA site in Charlotte, we have opened another American site in Michigan City in 2019, where we specialize in folding carton and corrugated board dies. We started there in 2019 with 10 employees, and today – 3 years later – we have 30 employees there. In addition, we have a site in Mexico since 2019."
Today, Marbach America is the second-largest national company of the Marbach Group in terms of sales, after Germany. In the last 10 years since its founding, there has been rapid development of Marbach's U.S. business: Marbach America's sales growth is in the double digits level every year.
From our locations in the USA (Charlotte, Michigan City) and Mexico, we serve and supply the complete North and South American market with cutting-dies.
