EcoVadis certification. Marbach receives silver medal.
We have been on the market for more than 100 years. Sustainability is an integral part of our company's philosophy. Recently, EcoVadis awarded the silver medal to our commitment for our forward actions in the future.
Marbach Sustainability Officer Eva-Maria Agreiter: "Sustainability is a topic of the highest importance for us as a company with a long history. We went through the EcoVadis audit to have our sustainability activities assessed by an independent body - and successfully passed it. We are very pleased about this recognition awarded by EcoVadis for the work we do!"
We have achieved the silver medal: a great result for us, which has exceeded our expectations. This award reflects our commitment to responsible business activities – also concerning environmental protection. As part of the certification process, we examined our own business activities in detail.
Agreiter: "We found out that we are already doing some things very well, but that there are also areas with room for improvement. Our sustainability project offers us the opportunity to develop as a company in a targeted manner, step by step, to make our contribution towards a future with confidence."
