Description

In the 1.5-day basic course in corrugated board die-cutting technology, participants gain practical insights into the corrugated board die-cutting process (flat and rotary). The extensive practical part (approx. 60%) takes place at our die-cutting machine Eterna eCut 1060Elite, while the theoretical part (approx. 40%) takes place in the modern premises of the Marbach Academy. Experienced technicians and trainers provide important information about the rotary and flatbed die-cutting processes for corrugated board. All of which is, of course, always based on the latest technology. The focus is on performance, product quality and productivity – with many practical tips for everyday work.

  • A brief introduction to materials and their effects on the die-cutting process.
  • Die-cutting machine. Safety instructions. Machine technology. Stations.
  • Production-oriented packaging development: flat and rotary.
  • Introduction to the flat and rotary tool package. Target state.
  • Profile and effect rubbering. marbacover|2.0 system.
  • Possibilities for finishing packaging in the flatbed and rotary die-cutting process.
  • Which cutting principle should I use for which blanks and packaging?
  • Advantages and disadvantages, limitations of flat and rotary.
  • RDC (rotary die cutter) and FFG (flexo folder gluer).
  • Challenges in practice, solutions, tips and tricks from practical experiences.

Target audience

This seminar is a basic course and is aimed at employees in the packaging industry in internal sales or field service, commercial or business apprentices, quality management, etc., who want to expand and deepen their knowledge.
