Digital zone levelling
Normally, during packaging production, zone levelling is done for each individual order. This costs time and therefore money.
Our digital zone levelling (DZL) can completely replace this order-related process. And thus makes order-related height compensation permanently unnecessary.
For you, this means significantly reduced make-ready times for each individual job. Thanks to its innovative coating, the DZL|plate is now even more durable!
AND HOW EXACTLY DOES THE PRODUCTION OF A DZL WORK?
1. CUSTOMER:
Unevenness in the cutting platen of the machine is measured using a grid cutting-die and pressure-sensitive foil.
=> Impression.
2. MARBACH:
- Data is evaluated, height level for compensation is determined.
- Height level is applied to the protection plate.
- DZL|plate is delivered to the customer.
3. CUSTOMER:
DZL|plate is inserted into the die-cutting machine and ensures permanently reduced make-ready times.

Of course, the service life of a DZL depends very much on how it is used.
Under normal conditions, the service life is:
- DZL|plate (paperboard) > 1 year
- DZL|plateXL (corrugated board) > 6 months

Special protection plate cleaner.
The DZL should be cleaned daily to ensure optimum functionality. Please be sure to use the Marbach special cleaner marbacleaner for this purpose. Its composition is perfectly matched to the DZL material and thus ensures optimum cleaning and a long service life for your DZL.

Platen cleaning device.
To maximize the benefits of using a DZL|plate, the machine should be thoroughly cleaned with a platen cleaning device before taking a digital impression. We also recommend cleaning the platen from time to time.

This allows the platen to be cleaned quickly and efficiently by the machine operator. The perfect addition to the DZL|plate and DZL|plateXL.

Universal oil spray.
The care of the cutting platen supports the optimal function of the DZL. We recommend using a universal oil spray such as Ballistol. This food-grade oil has H1 approval and is colorless, scentless, and tasteless. It offers high-quality rust protection for all types of machines and appliances and supports the long service life of your DZL.
